The United Synagogue

Rabbi Yisroel Fine was born in Swansea, South Wales and has been the Rabbi of Cockfosters & N. Southgate Synagogue since 1987. He received his Semicha from Gateshead Yeshiva and continued his studies at Mir Yeshiva, Jerusalem. He has previously served as Rabbi of The United Hebrew Congregation of Newcastle Upon Tyne and of Wembley Synagogue. He was the founder of the Wolfson Hillel Primary School of which he is the Honorary Principal. He also holds the portfolio of Jewish schools in the Chief Rabbi’s Cabinet. He is the Jewish Chaplain to Barnet & Chase Farm Hospital Trust. He is married to Judy who is a Counsellor in private practice and has four married children.
