Rabbi Harvey Belovski - Golders Green Synagogue

Rabbi Belovski was educated at University College, Oxford, in mathematics, as well as Gateshead Yeshiva, from where he gained Semichah, and the Beis HaTalmud Kolel.

He has been Rabbi of Golders Green Synagogue since 2003. In addition to his rabbinical duties, he is a Teaching Fellow at LSJS, and teaches at the JLE and elsewhere. Rabbi Belovski is the United Synagogue website rabbi, the new chaplains' mentor for Jewish Chaplaincy and is currently a post-graduate student at Birkbeck, where he is researching the Chassidic school of Sochaczew.

He is the author of two books and has written numerous articles for the Jewish Chronicle, Cross-Currents and other publications. His special interests include Midrash, pre-marriage counselling, 19th century Polish Chassidic thought and the development of independent-minded students.

Rabbi Belovski and his wife Vicki have six children.
