The United Synagogue

Candice has a BA (Hons) in Economics and Social Policy from Leeds and a Masters in Criminology from Cambridge. She spent 10 years working as a TV producer and director of factual programmes at Carlton Television.

Candice joined the United Synagogue in 2004 and since that time has had tremendous impact in developing the research arm of the organisation both at the centre and at a local level. She has conducted and written two seminal research papers for the United Synagogue 'Remaining with US' and 'The Community Development Group 1995-2005, an Evaluation of its first 10 years'.

Candice has run training seminars for honorary officers in research methods and in membership recruitment and retention. She has worked closely with certain local communities on membership ideas as well as being associated in designing and helping communities with surveys and focus groups.

Candice is married with 3 young children and is an active member in her local community (Finchley).
