Zvi Brooks fills one of the most demanding positions in the Kashrut Division. As hashgacha coordinator, Mr. Brooks serves as the assistant to the director of licensing.

His main role is to collate function information from the caterers and then to begin the lengthy task of allocating the work to the shomrim. Zvi also is in full charge of arranging KLBD certified cruises.

There are myriad scenarios that make this position demanding not least of which is when a caterer accidentally forgets to alert us of a particular function of a shomer has to pull out at the last minute.

Mr. Brooks studied in Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Morristown NJ. He previously worked for the Burial Society before joining the Kashrut Division and has made a tremendous impact since becoming part of the team
