TRIBE LAUNCH NEW AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
Tribe Club launched their new after school initiative in Muswell Hill Synagogue yesterday (29th October) following the success of the popular club at Wolfson Hillel Primary School which has been running for the past two years.
Activities on offer for the five to eleven year olds on the Club's first day included arts and crafts, and a lesson in karate. Rabbi Mason of Muswell Hill joined the children after the activities for a delicious supper and spectacular magic show which left the kids wanting to return for more.
The Tribe Club in Muswell Hill is the first of many Tribe are planning to launch in United Synagogue shuls throughout the next few months. The club takes place every Wednesday from 3.45 - 6.30pm.
Eight-year-old participant, Nina Peleg, said: "The Tribe Club is amazing! It is so much fun and the food was brilliant - I loved all the activities. I can't wait to come again next week!"
Rabbi Mason of Muswell Hill Synagogue commented: "It was great to see the energy of our children having such a good time in our synagogue. Children of all ages came along and had a really fun time, thoroughly enjoying all the activities. It is a really positive step for deepening our community's connection with Tribe."
Yael Peleg, Tribe Kids Director commented: "The Tribe Clubs aim to provide a fantastic service and range of activities for our younger members and keep them busy in a safe and educational environment after school. We are delighted that we have so many enthusiastic members and we hope to extend the Tribe Clubs to even more United Synagogues."
